Been here 3 times in the last 2 weeks and have had Kelly all 3 times and everything was awesome. Food on and service on point. Been coming here for over 15 years...

We ordered through Postmates, a wet chicken burrito and large menudo with Torillas
Pro: food was inexpensive, Menudo had good flavor, the burrito was decent.
Con: Menudo was very small (must have been the wrong size), the meat in the menudo was overcooked, basic flour tortillas (Was hoping for handmade or corn) the wet burrito had a light green color sauce when the pics showed red, not what was expected -

You say the place I would love fresh chips and salsa. Been a while and I am very disappointed. Seems a bit run down lack of customer service. Wasn't very clean wasn't very esthetically pleasing. Just your typical little hole in the wall. Ordered the carnitas dinner plate with rice, beans, sour cream, guacamole and cilantro and onions on the side. Asked if we'd like corn or flour tortillas we said flour. Mind you there's 2 adults myself and my sister, and they brought us exactly to flour tortillas. The carnages were chunky and extremely dry, not impressed very flavorless. The guacamole was somewhat watered down is was thin... it wasn't supposed to be as it was not a salsa. Ordered an iced tea extra ice with women I got a cupful of T very little ice and then a couple ice on the side which is OK but a defeated the purpose of having extra ice in know Limon. Racist or ordered water with lemon and didn't get women. Extra plates were never brought out for splitting. The food was covered dropped off and left us to our own did have to flag down B server a couple of times she was not busy there was nobody else in the restaurant it was well after lunch time period the young man products water refilled my tea brought ice and also a nother plate and war tortillas along with fresh chips and salsa. Needless to say I would have much rather gone to Cali tacos for a canito's burrito which is far superior than the canito's I had at ponchos. Lesson learn some things never say the same or at least never improve in this case I was extremely disappointed. Parking assault front there is a bar there's a corner liquor market. Has always just my opinion I won't be going back there happy Yelping!

Excellent authentic Mexican cuisine. Love mom and pop places and this one has that atmosphere! Large plates with tons of cheese, I'll definitely be back to try other dishes. Today we had chicken taco, Chile Rellenos and cheese enchiladas! The beans are delicious so if you love like I do, this is your place . I should mention their chips and salsa are good. The chips are served warm

Food is decent but management is the worst. Because it's local we try and get it in times of need but how is it, EVERY time you go in on what should be a typically busier day they are always understaffed. If you have all the time in the world then yes, a good decent meal but go into knowing you'll be there for awhile.
